Setup

The extension is Chrome‑only. It runs on any Chromium‑based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi, etc.).

Install

Install from the Chrome Web Store: Kumbukum on the Chrome Web Store.

Sign in

1. Click the Kumbukum icon in the toolbar.
2. Sign in with your Kumbukum account.
3. Pick a Default Project — anything captured that isn't routed elsewhere lands here.

That's enough to start capturing URLs and notes from the popup, and to use the email side panel on Gmail, Outlook, and Fastmail.

Optional: route URLs and email to separate projects

Open the extension's Options page (right‑click the toolbar icon → Options, or click the gear icon in the popup) and pick:

• URL Project — destination for saved URLs (manual and automatic capture). Defaults to the Default Project.
• Email Project — destination for saved emails. Defaults to the Default Project.

Both are per‑Kumbukum‑account, so different accounts can route differently.
